Silk Road Gala Dessert Reception - 320 Guests

As a sweet ending to the Silk Road Gala at the Berkeley Art Museum, Grace Street Catering worked with Da Vinci Fusion to transform the Alumni House at the University of California at Berkeley in to an Oriental tent with gauzy curtains and dramatic lighting. The 320 guest VIP desert reception was held after a performance by Yo Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble and featured a selection of miniature desserts. The outside patio provided additional seating under Tibetan parasols and towering floral arrangements by P. Knight. Inside, guests received complimentary gift bags while lounging on plush ottomans. The buffet tables were simple and elegant accented by polished black stones, pillar candles and fresh rose petals.
